Our 40th Anniversary Celebrations
To raise funds to enable us to celebrate in various ways our 40th anniversary in 2011 and help reach more deaf people as we do so.
Our income for the year is under threat from the Spending Review and so we must seek funds from other sources
January 2011 - December 2011
deafPLUS also known as Breakthrough (Deaf-Hearing) Integration
Reaching more deaf people and so providing continuity of our services right across London, the South, the Midlands and beyond so that our influence can grow and our expertise targetted effectively. We would like to be able to celebrate 50th year of service in ten years time and we need success in this our 40th year, to enable us to expand our work.
By providing additional unrestricted reserves which can be designated as 40th anniversary project funds
To gain unrestricted funds to carry our a programme of targetted celebrations throughout 201
Activities» Large Charity Ball with Canadian deaf entertainer( booked) whose airfare and expenses we we must pay
Success will be...celebration success enabling much publicity and increased client numbers
Long term these celebrations should help us to continue our work through these difficult economic times
The risks are simple: Not gaining enough funds for celebration set up costs. Without them we cannot pay for venues, entertainers, food, and so forth. The lack of celebrations will result in lack of publicity and that in turn of reaching more hearing impaired clients and fulfilling our mission
By providing statistics on the numbers of clients attending events and providing donors who wish to attend any event with the opportunity to do so if they contact us.
