Healthy Food, Healthy Mind
Food impacts on our daily lives and many of our clients live on a nutrient poor diet, we would to teach our clients and people in the community about healthier eating and how they can attain a better diet.
Many people seek to take control of their mental health using self-help, and to find approaches they can use alongside, or even instead of, prescribed medication.
One self-help strategy is to make changes to what we eat, and there is a growing interest in how food and nutrition can affect emotional and mental health.

Success will be 40 people working through the 10 week course
The project will provide local residents with new life skills and a better understanding of how there diets affects many aspects of there life.
We will demonstrate the success of the project through personal testimonials and a review process at the end of the project to review participants eating habits
There is risk that not enought people paticipate in the project.
We will deal with this by advertising through internal and external agencies that work with people living with mental health needs.
Donors will have the option of receiving a report at the end of the project outlining outcomes of the project.

We have had sucess in proving a variety of life skill projects over the last 10 years and in that time have helped many people develop skills that enable them to better cope with there lives.
