Working the poorest Children in Afghanistan to get education and change their lives by positive change in their attitude towards the world.
This project will continue over the years
Charity information: British Afghan Women's Society
Our project is helping disadvantaged children to be able to go to school. We are helping existing schools with the lack of resources and problems that they are facing. We are aiming to help open up new schools in the poorest of areas where there is no source of education.
With your help we can raise the funds to be able to buy equipment for schools such as basic tables, chairs and books. Your money will help improve the quality of the school buildings. Your money will pay for new schools that we want to open, so that children who stay at home because they have to travel far are able to go to thier local schools. It will also help pay for thier lunch, as poorer families do not send thier children to school as they cannot afford the cost of lunch.
Our aim is to help exisiting schools with the lack of facilities.
Activities» We will be in contact with several schools to see which is the most important issue that needs to be dealt with urgently.
Our success will be demonstrated once we have actually been able to help at least one school with the donations that we receive. This is show how we are able to achieve out aim.
Children will be able to go into school where there is a good enviroment, that will enable them to improve thier learning.
This project is purely based on the donations that we receive and through specific fundraising events. The risks that we face are not been able to raise funds so that we can help the schools. We are constantly looking at new fundraising ideas to raise money. We are also increasing our ways to find potential donors.
We will be reporting to our donors through emails and regular updates on our website.
