  • Need

50 years of successful Rep has taken its toll and in order to provide a further 50 years of successful theatre in Sheringham we need to refurbish and upgrade some of our infrastructure.

    Our needs are modest:
    A new booking system
The replacement of outmoded technical equipment
    The reupholstering of auditorium seating
The redecoration of the Hub coffee bar

  • Aims

    Aim 1

To refurbish our facilities after 50 years of successful Summer Rep

» STARS - request to theatre supporters to purchase a starlet (less than £100), star (£100), superstar (£250) or megastar (£500) for display in the Hub
» Drama Queen - Dam Judi Dench launched the new Drama Queen rose for us, and £1 from the sale of each rose will go to our STARS appeal
» Ticket donations - we are asking for a £1 donation for each ticket sold
» 200 Club - a 200 Club will seek to raise funds for STARS with monthly prize draws.

    What success will look like

Success will be evidenced by refreshed facilities which will enable the Theatre to continue and thrive for a further 50 years of Summer Rep.

  • Impact

The long term changes our project will bring about will include:

    a new booking system
    replacement of outmoded technical equipment
    reupholstered auditorium seats
    redecorated Hub coffee bar

Their success will be demontrated by enhanced customer satisfaction and improved ticket sales.

The only risk associated with the project is the possibility of failing to raise all the funds we require, which would mean we could not implement all the changes we hope for.

We are putting together a new newsletter to keep donors informed of our progress, and have created a new area on our website for STARS updates.
