Understanding police, law enforcement and weapon crime

The project is to reduce re-offending rates, anti-social behaviour, crime and violence in schools, in care facilities, penal, detention centres, and young offender’s institutions or prisons.
The project is holistic approach for young people to encourage them for positive life-style & away from violence. It promotes good citizenship, responsibility, dealing with emotion and anger, respecting and celebrating differences in others and community cohesion.
The curriculum taught through CTS programme will change the bad behaviour and negative thinking.
To encourage young people for positive life-style and away from violence.
Activities» To teach 'Calling the Shots' curriculums that includes worksheets, role play, group discussions, counselling, team work, research.
What success will look like
300 young people will be directly and another 500 people will be benefited indirectly through this project.
There will be reduction of the number of young people, who are or at the risk of categorised as Not in Education, Employment or Training.
Increased public safety.
More awareness of active citizenship among young people.
Reduction of re-offending
Reduction of criminal activities in schools and society.
More volunteering opportunities.
More young people will be involved in positive activities into their community.
Increased community cohesion.
Some participants of this project can be in danger or threats as they pull out from gangs and refuse to carry out criminal activities. In this case we had to move them from one place to another and ensure their security and engage them with others agency, who can ensure their safety.
Funders, donors or supporters of this project will receive a monthly email report on the project detailing the ongoing and forthcoming activities, and any necessary changes that have been made to the project plans.

The young people (aged between 11-25 yrs), who are or at the risk of getting involved in criminal activities.
Calling the Shots curriculum has been developed by our charity. We have delivering this programme since 2005.We have trained young people teachers, educators, youth workers, policy advisors, researchers, YOT workers, prisoners, community safety officers, park and street wardens, police, Operation Trident officers, parents and community members to work against gun and knife crime
