By providing a bursary to a ZGTF Scholar you are enabling them to undertake their chosen study trip to support their work in art conservation.

    Art conservation is a small specialism within conservation and students need all the support they can get to fulfil their potential.

    A bursary to a ZGTF Scholar will enable them to expand their practical experience in art conservation and support them in their vocation.

    » A bursary will enable the students to take-up a ZGTF Scholarship.

    Success will be,following the chosen study placement taking place a letter from the host together with a written report and presentation by the scholar will demonstrate the success

    Impact

    Many of the ZGTF Scholars supporter in the past 10 years have gone on to take up responsible position as art conservators nationally and internationally.

    Risk

    Not enough money to cover the costs of the trips is the biggest risk. In the past the Trustees have used capital funds when necessary.

    Location

    Students must be training in the UK. Study trips are anywhere in the world, excluding home countries unless special circumstances.
