Charity information: Second Chance
Taking referrals from schools or social services, we work at reintegrating non-attendees back into regular full time education. These children are not attending school for a variety of reasons; They may have been permanently excluded, parentally neglected, or they may be ‘school phobic’, to name a few. Whatever the reason, we work with them to get them back into full time education gradually and support them when they are back.

Success will be...Reintegrating non-atendees back into full time education
- Seeing a change in behavioural patterns, so as to be acceptable by schools and peers
- Seeing a change in the confidence level of the young person, so as to interact with peers and teachers at school
- Helping the young person to acquire basic skills so that they do not have to ‘hide’ behind false patterns of behaviour
- Seeing the young person back in full time education
Regular updates on the progress of the scheme will be sent to them in the post.
