  • Need

An untidy and unwelcoming main entrance to this busy community centre. The current office and reception area is not conveniently situated.

The project will create an open plan and welcoming reception and information area.

  • Aims

    Aim 1

To provide a friendly and welcoming information and reception area.

» By converting current 'dead' space into a new reception area.

Success will be monitored by feedback from our users and visitors.

    Aim 2

Providing a suitable environment for training in customer services.

» By providing a training placement in customer services.

Success will be monitored by helping young people gain future employment through a training placement.

  • Impact

In the longer term, this change should bring about increased usage,
    accessibility and customer satisfaction.

Nothing specific. The scheme will be project managed by an architect.

Donors will be kept informed of the progress of the project through our e-newsletter.

    Why Us?

Bridges is a focal point for the community of Monmouth, with up to 1,000 people a week using Bridges for meetings, support groups, activities, fitness sessions etc. A new reception and information area will be more user friendly, allow greater access for the disabled and will provide a one stop for all enquiries regarding the Centre.
