New Mountain Rescue Base appeal

We need over £300k to bring our dream to fruition, with the building of a purpose built mountain rescue base and training centre. Having outgrown our current base our operations are hindered by the storage of rescue vehicles at other locations. Our new base will house all four rescue vehicles.

  • Need

Our current base is too small for adequate training and vehicle storage. Being on a residential street it is disruptive to the local residents when we are called out to rescue someone at night.

We have acquired land and planning permission nearby for a purpose built base, with vehicle storage, modern training facilities and a base from which to run complex rescue operations throughout the area. We need the generous funding now to bring this dream to a reality.

  • Aims

    Aim 1

    Build a new rescue base.

» A big fund raising appeal in the local community.

    What success will look like

Success will be the funds to build the new base.

  • Impact

Improved facilities to bring a better, more modern, adaptive rescue service to assist the statutory authorities in rescuing the lost and injured.

Failure to raise the required funds.

The progress of the appeal will be publicised on our website and locally.
