Saturday Art Club
The Saturday Art Club is a programme of weekly art classes for children and young people with disabilities aged 5 - 25. Each class last one hour and provides the young people with access to professional materials, expert tuition, a peer learning environment, FUN!

Young people with disabilities are often excluded from mainstream classes and youth groups and out side school hours are often dependent on their family to provide them with entertainment and leisure opportunities.
By accessing a regular visual arts class they will the opportunity to learn new skills and work alongside their peers. They can learn to express themselves in a non verbal or written manner and this will increase their confidence and self esteem.
provide 32 children and young people with access to a Saturday Art Club.
Activities» run 4 classes each Saturday at Trongate 103 for 32 weeks. each class will be for 8 children.
Success will be recuiting the full number of children and sustaining numbers through the year
to provide the best materials and tuition
Activities» after a series of taster sessions the children will set the direction of the classes.
Success will be feedback from the children and parents telling us they learnt something new.
the young people will grow in confidence and self esteem and will return for furtehr classes increasing their portfolio of skills.
We have full child protection policy and procedures and all our staff and tutors have an enhanced disclosure.
We will forward regular visual reports and invite the funders to attend our exhibitions

The project will take place in our customised workshop in Trongate 103, Glasgow, G1 5HD
children and young people with disabilities from across Glasgow and the surrounding area.
Project Ability has a 25 year track history of delivery quality arts services in partnership with people with disabilities.
