The Place To Be

We have an inspiring sculpture by Antony Gormley comprising 3 life size figures which is in need of repair and refurbishment. We want to re-site this within the City Centre in order for it to be accessible for everyone to see. Estimated cost £45,000.

    Repair to a nationally important piece of art work and to make it accessible to the public.


    It will enable us to re-site the work in the City Centre which will draw in the public and enable everyone to be inspired by this piece of art.

    To repair and refurbish the work of art.


    » Raise the funds to cover the repair cost. Commission the repairs from a specialist studio.

    Success will be... Siting the work safely and securely in a publicly accessible location.

  • Impact


    It will put Peterborough on the map for seeing great works of art. It will be a national/international visitor attraction. It will give the work back to the people of Peterborough.


    The risk is not fulfilling our aims and the work will remain hidden from the public.


    We will invite them to the unveiling of the new installation and acknowledge their support.
