Success will be... Recruiting and training 60 youth for our mentoring scheme over a period of 3years

  • Impact

    Impact

Our youth mentoring scheme will reduce the number of worklessness among disadvantaged and marginalised young people, as they will be empowered to act as mentors for at risk youth, by offering structured training in how to become a peer mentor. Success will be at 100% improvement in interpersonal and communication skills; raise awareness of differing values and attitudes; explore how mentoring benefits mentees and relationships. Our charity will employ 20 of the youth as volunteers.

    Risk

The risk is the potential drop out rate. Hence, we have links with many youth organisations to ensure continuous recruitment of young people for the project.

    Reporting

Funders of this project will receive quartely written report on the project detailing the ongoing and forthcoming activities, and any necessary changes that have been made to the project plans, including full account of all the expenditure.
