  • Need

    Need

Lack of access to services withing the community for elderly and disabled residents

    Solution

By providing them with a door to door service using an accessible vehicle

  • Aims

    Aim 1

To raise sufficient funds to enable us to purchase a new MPV

    Activities

» Apply for funding, raise funds ourselves, accept donations

Success will be when we have the new vehicle operating in the city and surrounding rural areas

  • Impact

    Impact

Older people and people with disabilities will be able to remain living independently in the community because they will be able to access the services they need

    Risk

The principal risk is in not receiving all the funding we need to purchase the vehicle.
Once we have the vehicle, the main risk is ensuring we have sufficient funds to maintain and service it - we know we can do this through the fares and grants we already receive

    Reporting

We'd be more than happy for donors to visit us and see the vehicle in operation.
We'd also send regular written reports, copies of service evaluations and feedback from clients
