    Need

    Easleigh locationis populated by Somalis who fled from the civil strife in their homeland. For the past 20 years Esastleigh District has been home for (Any supporting statictis of Somalis). The life of ordinary Somali families living in Eastleight is pretty hard, no employment, no basic services such as education for children and health. Only remittance sent from abroad keeps up the lifeline of the majority Somali with also an increasing volatile business and entrepreneurial activities.

    Solution

    Families cannot afford to send their children to mainstream Kenyan school because they cannot pay the school fee so Under 16 school age children living in Eastleigh are the primary target of the project. And it is expected 450 children be enrolled Primary Education first year. so it will reduce literacy rate for boys and girls.

    Location

    Eastleigh is Kamukunji Constituency of Nairobi, is a district of Nairobi the capital city of Kenya. The area is located between the Mahare slums and Jericho, it is a ghetto a relatively high population and almost exclusively inhabited by Somali immigrant and refugees. The area is dusty, dirty and heavily congested with people and traffic.
