To provide an expert review of the operations of this large hospital serving a very poor part of North East Uganda and provide new apprpraite investment in equipment ,premises and staff training.
a key priority is to enhance maternity services to reduce the high local mortiality rates

    high mortailty rates of mothers and baies in the Kumi area of Uganda through improved maternity care services in the hospital and outreach provsion.


    better training of staff,better equipment ,better staff accommodation to help retain staff and establsihment of new out reach clinics in the community based at the hospital.
