  • Background

Rural schools in the Midland Province of Zimbabwe.

Poverty striken girls living in these areas who cannot afford sanitary products. The economic crisis in Zimbabwe has left many women unable to afford underwear and sanitary products thus threatening their dignity. Many women have substituted sanitary ware with rags or newspapers which has led to various vaginal infections. The 'Dignity Restored' campaign is aimed at restoring these young women's dignity by donating underwear and sanitary products .
