Quantative Sensory Testing of Patients with Chronic Pain
The current Quantitative Sensory Testing equipment in the Chronic Pain Sensory-Motor Laboratory is over 10 years old, fails accuracy with readings and paradigms, the heat probes are slow in responding and give inaccurate results.
The equipment needs replacing as a matter of urgency so we can provide accurate diagnoses for clinical patients.
The manufacturer (Medoc, Israel) have recently advised us that it can no longer support this model and therefore, parts will be unavailable.
