SLG Building Project
The South London Gallery's major expansion programme will open to the public in June 2010. Designed by 6a architects, the building project embraces a neighbouring terraced house to provide new small-scale exhibition spaces, an artists’ flat for a residency programme and a street level café. This will be complemented by the new Clore Studio, in a purpose-built extension at the rear of the existing gallery, which will host workshops, screenings and lectures together with a garden for annual art commissions.
We have nearly reached our target of £1.8 million and now urgently need to raise the last £60,000 to complete the project. We want to involve as many people as possible and every donation will make a real difference to our ability to deliver this project to its full potential. Thank you for your support.
