Indonesian earthquake and tsunami appeal
We are sending all our current stock of 300 Water-Survival Boxes to help protect survivors from water-borne diseases following the disaster. Our new appeal is to raise £60,000 to cover the cost of a further 400 boxes.

The priority is to protect survivors, especially children and the elderly from water-borne disease following the disaster.
The secondary purpose is to provide a range of essential survival items to those that have lost everything
By supplying a Grifaid Aquafilter capable of converting 100,000 litres of contaminated water into safe drinking water
to save lives as already described

What success will look like
By distributing Water Survival Boxes paid for by this appeal. The boxes provide safe water for a family of 5 for 5 years and other essential items when you lose everything
Peoples lives will be saved. Demonstrated by those receiving boxes who can get their lives back to some form of normality
The major risks are covered by our processes, the major one being boxes getting into the wrong hands. This is dealt with by ensuring that the boxes are distributed by NGOs who are well known to us with whom we have worked successfully before.
Primarily social media and our regular newsletters and ultimately it will feature in our Chairman's annual report
