Juliet's Journey to University!

Juliet has been on an incredible journey with OrphFund and now has the opportunity to fulfill her dreams by going to Nairobi University to study teaching.
As her own personal sponsor I'm incredibly proud would love to help raise £500 to cover her first year of fees. Thank you!

In 2009 while I was in Kenya, helping to build an orphanage, I met 8-year-old Juliet Awuor. She had lost her mother to HIV/Aids and her father to Malaria and had been an orphan since 2003, when she was just 2 years old.
Sadly Juliet's story was not unique but with the help of OrphFund she, along with many others in a similar situation, was provided with care and support, food, clean water, clothing, basic health care and education.

Juliet said she liked reading and wanted to be a teacher when she was older. Even from such a young age, she understood that education can be a path out of poverty.
When I returned from Kenya I set up a monthly donation to sponsor a child. I was allocated Juliet and over the years have watched her go from strength to strength.
She now has the opportunity to go to university to train as a teacher but needs initial financial support to get there.
This fund raising can make her dreams come true!
