Cornwall Beaver Project

After being hunted to extinction in the UK 400 years ago The Cornwall Beaver Project brought beavers back to Cornwall in summer 2017 thanks to the public who supported our crowdfunder campaign. The project is a partnership between Cornwall Wildlife Trust.

    Solution

    A 5 acre/2 hectare area of plantation woodland along Nankilly water, a stream at Woodland Valley Farm near Ladock, has been fenced to create a beaver enclosure.
