  • Need

    Need

This is trying to solve Food Poverty and Hunger in the UK. At Christmas time when we are all enjoying our Christmas many families are struggling to make ends meet, for many a Christmas Dinner will be Beans in a microwave. For many Children Christmas Presents are very few and for some it is just another day having to manage with minimum food.

    Solution

This project will enable us to provide more food enabling our foodbanks to distribute to all in need. Not just providing the essentials but also Christmas Gifts for the Children, and maybe some sweets and Christmas Treats. We hope that Christmas 2018 will be a time where every family in the UK can enjoy their Christmas Dinner without having to worry about what they will eat the next day.

Ensuring that whether young or old they will not be hungry at Christmas.

    Activities

» Highlight the challenge in our Food bank Network Newsletter, encouraging all our foodbanks to get involved.
» Highlight on our social media and website as well as leaflets to foodbanks
