  • Need

    Need

Young people in Uganda feel powerless. Over 40,000 students graduate each year, while only 10,000 jobs are created in the formal economy. In Sub-Saharan Africa more broadly, a graduate is three times more likely to be unemployed than a peer who never finished primary school.

    Solution

We enable young Ugandans to become social entrepreneurs who are creating systemic changes in their communities whilst creating jobs for themselves and others.

» Tutorials - A 10 month program for 60 social ventures. Each will receive 25 hours in workshops and 15 hours of bespoke tutorials.

    What success will look like

    - Increase in Income of Ventures
    - Increase in Impact of Ventures
    - Knowledge, Attitude, and Practices Surveys of Leaders

  • Impact

    Impact

We will improve the size and social impact of the entrepreneurial ecosystem in Uganda, and be able to take our cost-effective model to other countries.

We will demonstrate this through measuring the total increase in the impact of the ventures we support over years.

    Risk

Economic Instability in Uganda - Our curriculum makes youth-led social start-ups as resilient as possible.

  • Why Us?

    Why Us?

We have developed our curriculum over the past three years. Students now value our support at over twice our costs. As a start-up, your donation to us will have a much larger social-return-on-investment as we are enabled to scale our work.
