Empowering Youth-led Change in Uganda
We coach and mentor youth-led social start-ups in Uganda through workshops and one-to-one tutorials to make them more impactful, financially sustainable, and scalable.
Charity information: United Social Ventures
Young people in Uganda feel powerless. Over 40,000 students graduate each year, while only 10,000 jobs are created in the formal economy. In Sub-Saharan Africa more broadly, a graduate is three times more likely to be unemployed than a peer who never finished primary school.
We enable young Ugandans to become social entrepreneurs who are creating systemic changes in their communities whilst creating jobs for themselves and others.
Impactful, Sustainable, and Scalable Youth-led Social Ventures

We will improve the size and social impact of the entrepreneurial ecosystem in Uganda, and be able to take our cost-effective model to other countries.
We will demonstrate this through measuring the total increase in the impact of the ventures we support over years.
Economic Instability in Uganda - Our curriculum makes youth-led social start-ups as resilient as possible.

We have developed our curriculum over the past three years. Students now value our support at over twice our costs. As a start-up, your donation to us will have a much larger social-return-on-investment as we are enabled to scale our work.
