ATM House in Shepherd’s Bush is one of the last community centre remaining in the entire W12 postcode. The community centre sees more than 350 people per week, attending providers’ services and projects from employment support to youth mentoring. However the Centre requires urgent refurbishment.

    The community center sees more than 350 people per week, attending providers’ services and projects from employment support to youth mentoring. However, the community center has not been refurbished for quite some time and it is an old building that needs urgent repairing and refurbishments and proposed refurbishments will include heaters, air conditions, floorings, doors, security, toilets, and paintings, health, and safety compliance and general repairing.

    Solution

    Therefore, we want to raise £30,000 for a complete and good refurbishment for the community center and this will enable the local community to access services and support locally with fit for purpose community center.

    » To provide a community hub that can host employment, counselling and other provisions for local communities in Shepherd's Bush.

    We want to be part of a resident led solution that empowers residents to come together for the good of the community and will help build bridges and support vulnerable residents.


  • Impact

    Impact

    Refurbished and fully functioning community centre will benefit all the communities that live around W12 and beyond to participate educational and creational activities.

    For the effectiveness and usage of our community centre, we will use the following methods to assess the positive outcomes. Quantitative (numbers) monitoring to measure target audiences reached. Additionally, we will share our learning, case studies, trends and analysis with funders and the wider community.

    We do not foresee any risks but if there is any risk we have policies and procedures in place.

    we will share our learning, case studies, trends and analysis with funders, the wider community, other community organisations and local authority departments.
