Doorstep Crime Awareness Clinics
Helping to keep older & vulnerable people safe! These days, not everyone who calls at our doors may be a genuine caller.
They come in all shapes & sizes. Men, women, even Children. They can pretend to be ‘officials’ charity workers, tradespeople, property repairers & such

Need
Keeping Older and vulnerable people safe !
Too often, older people don’t tell about doorstep crime because they feel foolish or ashamed that they have been conned. They do not want relatives, friends, even neighbours to know, because they think they may lose their independence. Sometimes they are not even sure an actual crime has been committed or they are afraid that they will come back. As people are living longer & independently, we hear from many who are being targeted by cold callersSolution
Raising awareness and informing people how they can prevent themselves becoming a victim of doorstep crime doing this be delivering a series of Doorstep Crime Prevention Clinics to include rural and urban neighbourhoods.
Delivery of the events will help prevent people falling prey to these types of crime and will increase safety and wellbeing of our older and vulnerable residents.
