Surviving Winter Campaign 2017
Since 2011 we've raised £160,000 through our Surviving Winter Campaign. This year we're asking those who do not need their Winter Fuel Payment to donate it to those who do.
Through our grant-making to local charities, we will support elderly & vulnerable people who struggle in the winter months.
November 2017 - December 2017

Our 'Surviving Winter' Campaign is an appeal to those people who do not need their Winter Fuel Payment to donate it to those who do. It is also a chance for anyone to make a donationton to help those people who may struggle over the winter months in the Milton Keynes area.
The ‘Surviving Winter’ Campaign offers people the opportunity to support some of the most vuneralble people in Milton Keynes as the cold nights draw in. We are a grant making organisation who will work with charities and groups to deliver projects that tackle issues such as fuel poverty, social isolation and other essentials.
MK Community Foundation aims to help people stay safe, warm and healthy this winter.
Activities» Our Appeal asks those who don't need their Winter Fuel Payment to Donate it to those who do.
» We also appeal to anyone who would like to make a donation to help the elderly and or vunerable adults who may struggle through the Winter Months
MK Community Foundation will award grants to local charities and community groups who are working with people who are most affected by the winter months.
As a grant-making organisation we ask our grantees to complete a monitoring report that help us to demonstrate the impact on the community.
There is a risk that our donor, who usually donate to this campaign, may prefer to do this through more traditional routes, such as by cheque. We plan to run an awareness campaign encouraging people to donate through The Big Give in order to match their donation.
We will create a yearly donor report for our surviving winter campaign.
