Need
Need
422,000 people have fled Myanmar’s western state of Rakhine into neighbouring Bangladesh in recent weeks. As a result families are being torn apart as they struggle without life-saving food, water, medical supplies and our colleagues in the area are best placed to help.
Solution
The Red Cross Movement is scaling up aid efforts to minimise the suffering of people fleeing violence. In the Rakhine State of Myanmar, the Red Cross in recent weeks have assisted more than 10,000 people with first aid, medical supplies, clean water, food and other emergency items.
