Charity information: Worcester Cathedral
Admission into the Cathedral is free and it is open every day of the year. It costs £7,500 per day to maintain and we receive no direct government funding.
Your support will help us to ensure that the Cathedral will remain freely available to all so that it may continue to inspire and enrich our society.
To support the Cathedral's architecture, music and worship, education and work in the community.

What success will look like
We aim to keep the Cathedral freely available to all.
Supporting the Cathedral will help us to maintain and develop our facilities so that our visitors from all over the world and the local community can freely enjoy their heritage.
We are committed to keeping the Cathedral free of admission charges.
We write to donors twice every year and invite them to visit the Cathedral.

Worcester Cathedral is a vibrant community which has served the city and the diocese of Worcester since the Seventh Century. It attracts over 300,000 visitors each year from all over the world. As a top 10 Heritage City and ranked as England’s safest city, Worcester is a favourite destination for tourists and families and was recently voted in the top 5 of England's most cultural cities. In 2017, the Cathedral was voted in the top 10 of the UK’s free to visit tourist

The Dean Of Worcester Cathedral
The Dean chairs the Dean and Chapter which is responsible for maintaining the Cathedral.
