Over the past week the East Lancashire Railway has been subject to a series of vandal attacks causing thousands of pounds worth of damage to the popular heritage line.

    Over the past week the Bury based East Lancashire Railway has been subject to a series of vandal attacks causing thousands of pounds worth of damage to the popular heritage line and devastating the whole ELR family who dedicate so much time and effort to the preservation of the line.

    Solution

    By supporting the Vandal Attacks Appeal it is hoped that the ELR team will be able to commence the repairs on the vehicles and carriages as quickly as possible, getting them back into traffic for visitors to enjoy.
