Project information

we will be taking children from low income families fon an exciting weekend. we will treat them to fun outings, have exciting activities, nourishing meals and lots more with an uplifting atmosphere, as the parents of these kids can't afford to give them exciting and expensive outings like their peers

December 2017 - December 2017

  • Need

the children don't have the friends that they would like to have as they feel inferior to the other kids that could afford to do fun activities and outings whenever they want. they also can't join the talk when their peers talk about the major fun places they've been to. this leads them to be socially inactive and sometimes even depressed. this could cause long term harm for their future and to reach their potential

we will give the parents a chance to give their kids for free! outings and activities that their peers are having. the children will be able to fit in socially much better with their peers as they will also be having expensive fun. this will automatically cause long term happiness as they will be feeling better with themselves, joining in the talks between friends causing them to try harder at reaching their potential in life.

  • Aims

    Aim 1

to fit in to the social circle of their friends, classmates, neighbors and friends

» fun outing and activitties. we will have on site a proffessional photographer and at the end will treat them with an album of all the fun they had.

    What success will look like

we will assess each child before and after the weekend by getting information from parents and teachers.

    Aim 2

prevent children from becoming upset or even depressed.

» the Councillors will be trained to pick up on any problems and how to guide the kids now and for the future.

    What success will look like

we will assess each child before and after the weekend by getting information from parents and teachers.

  • Impact

the children will become happier as they will be feeling part of their peers they won't be feeling low or depressed and inferior that they can't afford fun and exciting activities. long term happiness causes them to try and work harder to reach their full potential and this could even lead to them having a big career in the future.

safeguarding concerns. all staff will be subjected to a DBS check and will undergo trainig every 6 months. we will have a safeguarding officor on site all the time.
we will make sure to have a back-up for all outings and activities in case one does'nt work out. i.e. it rains

we will send out reports, figures and surveys to the donors about the success of the weekend.
