Mother and Baby/Toddler Group
We currently run two mother and baby/toddler sessions a week which is very popular for families with and without disabilities. The sessions rely solely on funding to stay running on a week to week basis. Sadly, the sessions will have to close if we aren't able to receive funding for another year.
September 2017 - July 2018
Charity information: Bolton Children's Opportunity Group
Parents of children with disabilities can sometimes feel isolated in their own homes and find it difficult to get out and meet other families in the same situation.
The sessions we run give these families the opportunity to meet, interact and play in a safe setting with nursery staff specialised in caring for children with disabilities. They have the option to stay with the child or take some well needed rest in the parents room where they can talk with other parents in similar situations and become of help to them.
Keep the sessions running for another year 2017-2018
Activities» Fundraising events will be organised in the upcoming months by both the staff at COG and the parents
The sessions will re-open from September 2017 and run twice-weekly. If we are successful in covering all the costs involved they will remain open until July 2018.
Both the parents and children who attend our sessions will continue to come for another year, and these families will benefit immensely.
If we aren't able raise the funds we need to keep the sessions open, we are certain we will have to stop them in order to keep the organisation as a whole running. This is a last resort for us as we know how important the mother and baby sessions are to all of the families of children with disabilities in the Bolton area.
By letter, e-mail and Social Media.
