Keep our delivery van on the road

Our Foodbank van is used every day to collect food from supermarkets, make deliveries of stock and food parcels to all our centres and we need to raise £720 to tax and insure the van by November - can you help us please? Thank you very much

November 2017 - December 2017

  • Need

The project is looking to provide ring fenced finance to help with the costs of taxing and insuring the delivery van for our Foodbank. Without this vehicle we would face enormous difficulties in maintaining our work and it is vital to our operations.

By raising the necessary finance the vehicle will be available to us for the next 12 months without having to make specific appeals to our hard pressed supporters for more financial support.

  • Aims

    Aim 1

To tax and insure our delivery vehicle for the next 12 months

» Seek additional funding from local companies and supporters

    What success will look like

The money will be raised and the vehicle will be fully taxed and insured for 12 months

  • Impact

We will be able to make the necessary deliveries that are essential to the operation of the Foodbank, as well as picking up all the donated food from supporting supermarkets. Our centres will also be able to call on stocks from our warehouse and have their deliveries made promptly and efficiently.

The main risk is the non availability of money from outside sources.
If this were to happen we would have to approach our hard pressed supporters to make donations.
