Charity information: The Police Dependants' Trust
Christmas can be a depressing time for police officers seriously injured or killed on duty, and their loved ones. For some, it isn't so much a time of celebration as another day of pain, recovery, and grief.
Through the provision of a Christmas welfare pack, this one act of kindness supported by the Big Give and funded the public will offer a moment of respite for hundreds of families struggling with trauma and grief at Christmas, showing that no matter what happens, they are always loved and supported by the public.
Deliver a pack to every police officer (or their family) seriously injured or killed on duty in 2017
Activities» Put the packs together, including personal messages from colleagues and supporters, and then deliver them in time for Christmas.
The messages of thanks from beneficiaries after Christmas.
