September 2017 - August 2022
Charity information: Raaps-uk( Network of Actions and Supports for Social Protection)
As said, we are a charity working in the care of victims of human trafficking and modern slavery, orphan and abandoned children (women), homeless and victims of wars in the Dem.Rep.Congo. We are struggling to get funding to continue to build schools and dormitories, starting schools activities, feeding these children and paying volunteers staffs.
This project will first achieve the universal primary education as well as reduce children crimes and mortality. It will eradicate extreme poverty and hunger by bringing a new integration of poor families and children into a new society. Also, this project proposal will develop a global partnership of economy development and education between the UK and DRC. It will break many barriers in both countries such as creating more jobs, as well as breaking their massive coming to Europe...
working for the prevention or relief of poverty in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) ...
Activities» Build schools and dormitories for orphan children/youth....
» Hire the main office in Wales/UK,buy equipment and recruiting volunteers teachers and administrators to go to DRC for English term...
» Providing regular ESOL and TEFL training for volunteers teachers who will be going to teach in Congo...
» Buy the schools equipment, uniform ofr children, etc.
What success will look like
Poor and orphan children/youth will get access to free school, meals and dormitories and beneficiaries will feel at home ...
In all over the world children represent the future and the education is vital in human lives mostly young children. At the end of their studies they will get a certificate that will give them an opportunity to get jobs and be self sufficient in their lives....
The only risks to this project is only the fact that schools will be operated in the Democratic Republic of Congo, it is some time difficult to find funders for DRC or central Africa and the activities will not progress normally without funding. That is why we are seeking everywhere for donations, funding or even get a sponsor in order to achieve our objective. We have already registered or enrolled children but couldn't start because of funding...
Any obstacle that RAAPS-UK will encounter should be reported to its donors through website, facebook or any other lawful method...
