International Women's Day 2017
International Women's Day is celebrated internationally on March 8th. Women's Arts Association has open art exhibitions and events in 2017: Cardiff, Barry and Swansea. We need funds to pay necessary expenses like posters, labels & hanging equipment, & for public events during the shows.

In 2017, there is NO funding for a Women's Arts organisation like us. There's nothing for our open shows. We are genuinely voluntary. We still have expenses.
We have potentially stunning open art shows for International Women's Day and these need small expenses, some technical like posters and hanging equipment, and to help women who are learning to curate, a little for openings and diverse performance artists which will help women celebrate IWD and women artists to be enjoyed with respect.

Footfall at exhibitions & events, positive feedback
More and diverse women engaging in the arts, reaching out to new women artists and encouraging creativity within the network of women in the arts in Wales.
We demonstrate this by our membership which increases slowly and steadily.
There is a small risk that we don't have enough money. We have solved this through entry fees to cover basic costs.
Donors will of course be invited to attend opening events and exhibitions - and women can ask for an entry form for any IWD 2017 exhibition. We run a website, Twitter and Facebook which report on activity. After, a one-off report will be emailed to all donors.
