The unit have lost both their meeting place and all of their equipment. This leaves them in need of funding to pay for accommodation and equipment replacement as well as the re-building of the headquarters, which served as a valuable community resource in addition to it's role as headquarters to TS Indomitable

By providing funds this project will allow the unit to continue to operate effectively while insurance claims are processed and give them the chance to re-build and re-equip to a high standard to continue supporting the youth of Burgess Hill as well as the wider needs of the local community

  • Aims

Equipment will have been sourced to allow the unit to continue to deliver youth work such as uniforms, camping equipment and training aids

    Aim 3

Replace the headquarters building lost in the fire

» Provide a replacement building that allows the unit to continue it's work with the youth of Burgess Hill and as a community resource for the area

    What success will look like

A new building will be in place to provide a unit base as well a community resource for other groups

  • Impact

This project is to ensure the survival of a youth group that provides a valuable service to the local community and ensure that it is setup with the tools to allow it to continue providing this service into the future

The site is leased from the council and therefore re-building is subject to their approval as well as any necessary planning consent. We will be engaging with the council from the beginning of the project to ensure that any issues are addressed as early as possible

Monthly reports will be provided detailing progress and any changes to plans. We are planning to invite all donors to attend the re-opening of the new building so that they can see first hand the work that they have supported
