Offering support to existing and new Wushu classes, run by the Chinese Wushu Friendship Organisation, in promotion and running of their Wushu classes, which are open to the community.
More people participating in Chinese Wushu
Activities» We will use the funds from this project to help develop, promote and deliver more CWFO Wushu classes
What success will look like
Increased participation in Chinese Wushu as measured by CWFO via registers of attendance and feedback from participants.
The project will aim to increase numbers of people practicing Wushu on a regular basis. Success will be evidenced by an increase in regular participants in CWFO run Wushu classes as evidenced by registers. By "regular" we mean people who attend a class most weeks for a sustained period of time (e.g 6 months)
The main risk is the Health and Safety implications of strenuous physical exercise. To deal with this risk, all CWFO Wushu teachers are trained in all health and safety aspects of teaching Wushu from performing risk assessments through to First Aid training.
Donors will be offered sign up to regular email news from CWFO which reports on progress made.
