Kinetic Foundation Festival
The idea is to hold an event for current scholars, their families, and the wider community. It will include a football tournament for alumni to strengthen ties with leavers. It will take place on one day.
January 2017 - May 2017
The festival aims to strengthen ties with graduates to create a network of leavers who may be able to support the work of the foundation in the future.
The Festival also provides the opportunity for attendants to communicate with one another while sharing experiences and advice concerning Education, Football performance and other areas of life.
The festival will bring graduates back together, giving them a chance to reconnect with coaches and each other.
Provide a festival which can be enjoyed by current scholars, their families and the community.
Activities» Use publicity material to spread the word and then ensure the festival is well-run and organised with a variety of activities on the day.
Attracting 200 people to the festival.
Activities» The tournament will give them a chance to play football with their old teammates and catch up with coaches.
Attracting 40 graduates to the festival.
The festival will give the foundation a strong alumni network from which to generate future support.
Support, whether that's financial or simply shouting about the work that we do, will allow us to reach a larger group and maximise the work we do in the community.
The risk is that we would not be able to attract enough graduates to the festival.
Some may be living far away or not playing football anymore.
We are dealing with this risk by maintaining contact with them through event invites and newsletters.
Donors will be added to the newsletter list to receive updates on what we are up to and how they might be able to help.

The festival would take place at one of our two host schools. Either Woodcote High School or Royal Russell School. We have strong links with both and they provide excellent facilities which the scholars benefit from weekly.
The festival will benefit alumni because they can network with each other and staff. It will benefit current scholars and their families because they can meet the previous cohorts and share ideas. It will benefit the foundation because it increases exposure and will hopefully lead to financial gains in the future.
We have several years of experience in delivering community sessions and events for young people from deprived backgrounds.
We have a group of qualified coaches and a reliable pool of volunteers. Our scholars, their families and graduates and actively involved with the work we are doing.
