Rape and Sexual Abuse Survivors Service Project

This is an on-going project offering support to survivors of rape and sexual abuse, helplines, face to face counselling, self help groups and awareness presentations. Funding is a big issue for organisations such as ours.

No one wants to fund a "Taboo" subject, including the government. We rely on private donations, trust funds and foundations.

If you could fund 10K-25K per annum towards running costs. RASASC staff could dedicate themselves to serving survivors at a better level, develop better services and not spend weeks and weeks applying for funding to oversubscribed pots. There are only 3 members of staff, but 70 volunteers, who answered over 2400 helpline calls last year and saw over 2000 face to face clients for individual counselling sessions.
