The Täsaka Master Degree Program - for students of Ethiopian origin
The University of Haifa is proud that 40% of all students of Ethiopian origin in Israel study on our campus and that the first two Israeli/Ethiopian lawyers are alumni of our Law Faculty.
To ensure the success of Ethiopian students, wishing to study towards advanced degrees, the University of Haifa offers a tailor-made program to ease the burdens they may face along the way.
The socioeconomic realities of many in the Israeli Ethiopian community are difficult and often circumstances dictate that young people, directly after graduation, must seek out a steady income to assist in supporting entire families. The dream of continuing to an advanced degree is often not within their reach.
The University of Haifa is committed to supporting talented students to continue on to Master studies. Not only will these students serve as role models for others in the community, they represent the next generation of researchers and lecturers.
