  • Need

    Need

As a group, our scout hut was run down, and no longer safe for our children to use. We had to relocate to allow them to have good access to facilities in a safe and developing environment.

    Solution

With the new build, we will have our own land, a purpose built scout hut with a workshop and a safe place to educate and play with our young people to teach them the values of scouting, and to help develop their confidence to become great adults and educate them to be the best that they can be.

To build a new scout hut and community regeneration centre

    Activities

» Fundraise and invest with the groups money raised from the sale of our old building.

  • Impact

    Impact

A safe learning environment with good facilities, and a centre that the local community can use as well to bring them together, to encourage friendly relationships between neighbours leading to a happier area to live in, with a facility where children and learn and grow in safety.

    Risk

The main risk is lack of funds which could lead to a serious reduction in project scope.
