Post–secondary education for orphans
Providing the orphans in our care with training and courses for vocations of their choice will give them the best start in adult life ensuring they can secure a job that will make them self-sufficient.
Charity information: Bayis Lepleitos
Young adults are finding it increasingly difficult to obtain jobs in an extremely competitive market. Although they have received a full education, if they are not trained in a particular vocation, there is a big chance that they will remain unemployed once out of formal education, bringing upon them a whole host of problems as they are not self-sufficient.
The courses we will provide (in many subjects: focusing especially on technology) will solve the problem by granting these underprivileged young adults with the tools they need to land a fulfilling and well paying job.
Provide different courses to open the orphans up to a wealth of job opportunities.
Activities» Run a range of courses on different vocations.
What success will look like
Having every young adult in our care signing up to a minimum of one course.
Our project will provide the disadvantaged teens with an arsenal of information at their disposal setting them up for future careers.
The certificates they will receive at the end of the year for passing the courses will be proof of their success.
Although providing them with courses boosts their chances of landing respectable jobs, it doesn't guarantee it. We will deal with this by forging links with a job-seekers office to ensure the best chance of success.
We will send an email at the end of each term specifying how the students are progressing.
Budget - Project Cost: £25,000Loading graph....
Amount Heading Description £25,000 Courses £500 each for 50 young adults
Some courses will take place in our building and some will take place in the college that we will be working in conjunction with.
The young adults will benefit by having received the skills to assist them on a career path.
Being that we have provided the children with all their needs, including educational, up until now, we could provide courses best suited to their needs being that we are aware of exactly what they have learned both formally and through extracurricular activities.
