LIFE EDUCATION CENTRE (WILTSHIRE) LTD
Our existing classroom has had serious water damage to the ceiling, resulting in water getting into the electrical equipment. We have had this repaired but now need funds to replace the mobile as we have been told it has al life span of two to three years.
The cost to replace the vehicle is £66505
The committee have agreed to embark on a fund raising campainge to raise the £66505 over the next two to three years. We will activily approach various community funds through our contacts and Wiltshire Council, plus we have registered with other fund raising organisations, trusts and charitable doners.
Fund raising to replace our existing classroom
Activities» We will activily approach Community Funds, Contacts, Wiltshire Council and other doners thropugh various web pages, Twitter, Facebook and Linked in.
Providing we have the funds we will purchase the new mobile as soon as the funds are availble.
The life span of the new mobile is 10 years and during this period we hope to provide the education programme to over 10,000 children p.a. As the programmes are age related by revistining their schools we will be able to monitor their understanding by using tried and tested surveys
The only risk is not being able to raise the full amount, however there are possibilities to use other Trusts mobile classrooms when they are not using them. Because we had existing damage to our classroom we were able to use another Trust's mobile during the period our's was being repaired.
We will provide details of the funds raised and when we are able to purchase the new classroom a ltter of thanks will be sent to all our doners

We provide the Education programme throughout Wiltshire, visiting as many primary schools as possible. The committee book the schools during the academic year and are fully booked until July 2015 and we are now in the process of contacting schools for the year 2015-16.
We were formed in 2002 and during this period we have been seeing in excess of 10,000 primary aged children annually. Hopefully this has helped the local community in reducing anti-social behaviour by the children, plus their depenancy on drugs, alcohol and substance abuse. As we also have parents sessions this shopuld help the families and their relations.
We are part of a National Charity - Coram Life Education - who provide the expertise in the training of our Educators and the structure of the education programmes.
They also set up our monitoring survey to ensure the knowlegde and information given to the children is being understood ans retained.
