The Gul Toilet Campaign
Currently Gul operates from a beautiful 19 acre site but the only toilet facilities we have is a portaloo in a shed. We are now fundraising for a fully plumbed disabled toilet with a wet room for our beneficiaries. We serve people with mental and physical disabilities, veterans and serving families
June 2014 - June 2015
we need a fully operational, disabled friendly, wet room and toilet block for our equine yard to cater for beneficiaries with more complex needs and also basic ones!
We currently use a portaloo in a shed and have no shower facilities. As we operate in a cold muddy environment we need to fix this with a new toilet block, with full disabled access.
fund raise 10k to build a fully operational toilet and wet room at our equine yard
Activities» Gul events, we run 6 events through the year to fundraise for specific needs
» our CEO has raised over £3500 by riding in all four countries of the UK and over 100k
» we rely on the generous donations of our supporters at the various sales of furniture and horse tack we run through the year.
when we hit our target and have clean happy and warm beneficiaries all year round
it will enable Gul to grow to serve a large community of people and enable our environment at the yard to be more hygienic and safer. when we meet these aims and have the toilet block completed the success of the project will have been demonstrated.
We have our p[planning application in the final stages and there are no other serious ricks.
we report through our Annual reports via the charities commission, our weekly comms newletter and our social media.
