Currently the town of Waterloo is undergoing immense pressure to cope with the deadly Ebola virus. We are helping as best we can to alleviate this. We are doing this via education and distribution off food to quarantined homes and feeding orphans who are reported to be sleeping in Waterloo Market.
Charity information: The Waterloo Partnership
The problem of lack of education is making it difficult to stem the spread of the Ebola virus. Recently we have been made aware of several hundred Ebola Orphans who are starving and sleeping rough.
We have and will continue to run education sessions to sensitize people as to how they can prevent catching the Ebola Virus and we are now involved in daily food distribution to the quarantined families and Ebola orphans.
To alleviate suffering to the community of Waterloo, Sierra Leone caused by the Ebola virus.
Activities» By providing daily food drops in the community and also by identifying orphans and providing them with food and water.
What success will look like
Our website will show regular reports and photographs and the Chair of the Waterloo Partnership, Sierra Leone will provide the UK Trustees with tangible information.
That people will feel supported and cared for by the Waterloo Partnership.
The virus becomes so bad that we will not have people on the ground in Sierra Leone to help us.
