  • Need

We would like to share real life snapshots of a typical learning environment supporting vulnerable young people in need for additional one to one support.
Given the right support all of our learners will achieve, engage and achieve their goal.
However we aspire to do more for our learners.
Government funding allows us the opportunity to train our young people with great success stories but we want to reach out further so they can aspire to their goals with just a little more help from us.

This is a typical start for most of our learners . We need funding for additional support to uphold these learners to give funders and employers the aspirational success stories our learners can achieve.
Happy to share real life success stories of our learners who have progressed from the scenario above to either study to become an astronaut or going to University or studying A levels or producing their own music track …..
We are looking for funding to make this list endless.

  • Background

Edmonton is one of the highest deprived boroughs with high numbers of NEET young people furthest away from the job market. They often have very little support outside First Rung. This projects gives them support and motivation to gain a job with training . It's not just about Job Search /CV writing. It's about knowing yourself and knowing how to get to an interview and sell yourself well! It's the simple things of having someone there on interview day that can make a difference.

1.Young people with little or no support /help outside of First Rung. Young People often don't know where to start looking for a job or know what is a good CV. Producing a video Cee Mi CV gives the young person confidence to put themselves forward to the employer.
2.The employer then gets to see the candidate on video before inviting them for interview. A really good insight into the applicant not seen on a paper based CV.

  • Why Us?

    Why Us?

We are the only independent training provider in Barnet, Watford and St Albans and the largest in Enfield.
We are a charity established for over 30 years with Ofsted Grade 2 in November 2013.
We support all those young people who have not had good experiences at school or college and take them on to progress and succeed in their qualifications and job progression.
91% of our young people progress into employment or training (Nov 2013).
We want to ensure this figure remains high.
