  • Need

    Need

After weeks of escalating hostilities and violence impacting civilians, especially children, the people of Gaza are in critical need of food, water, medical supplies, and psycho-social support.

    Solution

World Vision is helping people through distributions of food parcels and hygiene kits, and by providing fuel, medical supplies and bed sheets for hospitals. Children will also receive psychosocial support. Teams are on the ground to assess the full scale of the needs.

  • Aims

    Aim 1

To address the immediate humanitarian needs of children and their families in Gaza

    Activities

» provision of emergency food assistance
    » provision of medical supplies
    » psychosocial support

Short term emergency food and medical supply is delivered to reduce suffering.

  • Impact

    Impact

Communities can immediately begin to return to productive activities.

    Risk

Physical access to beneficiaries and supplies is challenging because of ongoing military action. Good coordination on the ground permits bursts of activity at the moment, but a longer ceasefire is necessary in order for activities to scale up. The project allows for regular access interruptions whilst still being able to deliver within the designated timeframe.

    Reporting

Donors will receive a final report detailing the activities completed.
