    Beneficiaries

The Gaza and Israel Appeal will support people in areas currently affected and those potentially affected in the future by the crisis. In the unlikely event that we raise more money than can be reasonably and efficiently spent, any surplus funds will be used to help us prepare for and respond to other humanitarian disasters anywhere in the world.

  • Why Us?

    Why Us?

Given the Red Cross and Red Crescent’s unique role under International Humanitarian Law, the Palestinian Red Crescent is the only organisation that is able to access areas in the “buffer zone” between Gaza and Israel, where it provides emergency medical services. The ICRC has a strong presence in the region and due to the current escalation in violence has stepped up its dialogue with Israeli and Palestinian authorities.
