Short Term Theraputic Group Programme
Our Group Programmes provide children with a safe space to talk about and remember their special person who died. Through creative activities we hope to provide children with things that will be helpful now and for the future.

Need
Need
We do not believe that any child or family should feel alone in their grief. Having support at this difficult time has an impact on the child's future.
Solution
We aim to give every child that goes through our group the skills and confidence to move forward remembering their special person in a healthy and positive way.
-
Aims
Aim 1
To support a child who has had someone special to them die.
Activities
» Provide our short term theraputic group programme.
What success will look like
By providing a group programme where the child takes part in a number of activities to help them with their grief.
-
Impact
Impact
At the end of each group programme we hold a review night where the family and children fill in a form to help us move forward and make sure we best meet their needs. We keep in touch with our families and have an open door policy. Many families do not reconnect suggesting the service we provide is enough.
Risk
If a child attended the group and felt it was not for them there is no obligation to come back and one to one sessions could be arranged if appropriate.
Reporting
We can feedback on the success of the group and how the child responded.
