HWHC Pitch Fund
HWHC need to raise cash to replace both of the astroturf pitches which are essential for the charity to continue to run and benefit both the hockey club and the wider local community.
Charity information: Hampstead and Westminster Hockey Club
The charity does not own its own pitches and so have to contribute towards the maintenance of existing council facilities in order to have a surface to play, train and coach on and continue to operate.
By putting aside the funds required we can ensure that the club continues to have access to facilities essential to our continued participation in the sport and its development in the wider community.
Raise funds to replace and maintain the astroturf pitches used by HWHC throughout the year.
Activities» Run a sponsored HWHC Sports Day.
» Publicise the need for financial support and encourage donations towards the fund.
We will build up our pitch fund reserve over the coming years such that we are able to secure our future access to the pitches when the time comes.
The club will be able to continue training and playing on our existing pitches. We will be able to put in place our plans for wider offerings to children and the local community as well as developing our current players.
We will communicate the levels of the fund periodically as well as letting them know of upcoming activities happening at a club level aside from donations.
